KENLOK Grooved Joint
HKS, KENLOK grooved fitting just like the fire service fittings, applied by a grooving machine to form a groove on the pipe, ensure couplings round the seal gasket and tighten screws. They have WRAS and WSD approval and done various testing in the laboratory approved by HOKLAS. They can join stainless steel tubes to BSEN10217-7 (BS3605), size available from 65mm to 300mm.Tubes and fittings are also available in 304 or 316 grades of stainless steel.
Advantage:
- These couplings feature excellent strength and flexibility to deal with variety of factors including expansion, contraction and deflection caused by temperature changes or other source of vibration.
- These couplings key engage the full circumference of the grooves, this provides significant pressure restraint and end load capabilities to endure pipe movement from various internal and external sources.
- Allowed for the rotation and alignment of pipe and fittings, prior to tightening the housing bolts. This feature can also reduce tension between piping components.
- With the removal of just a few bolts you enjoy easy access to the system, allowing for cleaning, maintenance, changes or system expansion.
- The design and construction of a grooved system utilizing gasket reduces noise and vibration transmission.
FITTINGS
HKS, fittings are suitable for above ground and below ground usage and approved UK Water Regulation Advisory Scheme (WRAS). The joint are sealed using a silicone gasket which comply with BS 6920 and the O-ring is NBR. Maximum working pressure is 40 bar. |
